On Waiting For The Punchline album, Extreme have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. This is one of greatest albums of Extreme. There is so much to love about Extreme, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. Waiting For The Punchline - another great offering from Extreme.
I listened to the opening track Evilangelist and liked it a lot. Fair-weather Faith - This one is what it is: a powerful, primal invitation to love. Hip Today is a pleasing, and full of overall coherence that goes beyond other creations. It’s such an underrated song. This song is very powerful, its catchy melody will have you singing along in no time. Naked is a good listen every once in a while. Once you hear No Respect, you will listen to it over and over. Shadow Boxing - Extreme first major hit. Tell Me Something I Don’t Know sets the tone for the entire album. There Is No God is simple, dignified and effective, Extreme refusing to over-emote, and demonstrating that less is more. Unconditionally motivates you to get up and do something to improve your life and the life of others.

Dokken’s debut, ‘One Live Night’, does not fit easily into one genre. This compilation contains all of the biggest hits by Dokken. I am not a real Rock: Hard-Rock music type of person, but i have to admit ‘One Live Night’ really is amazing. Oh yes, this album gets out of
Unchain The Night is one of the best records ever. After few listenings I started to like The Maze more and more. When I listen to Nothing Left To Say in my car when traffic ain’t going so good. A great put together song. I think Tooth and Nail is the best song Dokken has ever done. Music of Just Got Lucky is gentle, never overbearing. This song stands out greatly from the others. Alone Again is a bit different from Dokken stereotypical stuff. In My Dreams is a romantic if not formulaic ditty. Nowhere Man - Well, here we get a bit more meaning. It’s Not Love is a bit of a show-tune.

Dream Theater is work hard for A Change Of Seasons. A Change Of Seasons isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. I guess you need to listen A Change Of Seasons as soon as possible. A Change Of Seasons is awesome.
Funeral For A Friend is maybe the best thing the group’s ever done. Perfect Strangers is perfect. This song stands out greatly from the others. In The Big Medley full palet of sound is used by Dream Theater to accentuate the presentation.

This is one of the best Cd’s Def Leppard has dropped to date. This is one of greatest albums of Def Leppard. On Vault (greatest hits) album, Def Leppard have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. Check it every song is worth the money for the Vault (greatest hits) CD!
Photograph is a good listen every once in a while. Love Bites is probably the highlight of the album. It’s a great pleasure to listen to Let’s Get Rocked from the beginning to the end. It is succeeded by an outstanding track, however: Two Steps Behind, which shows, blatantly, how much Def Leppard has evolved as a singer. Animal is a song that will not reduce you to tears but leave you thinking long after Vault (greatest hits) have ended. Heaven Is - A nice song. I like the agression and power of Rocket. When Love and Hate Collide is an incredible song that has everything it needs to be another favorite track. Action is quite refreshing and sets the tone for what is going on in Vault (greatest hits). Some call Make Love Like A Man from Vault (greatest hits) as a quiet invitation of an artist to sit and listen. Armageddon It is the kind of record that makes you remember why music can be so addictive. Have You Ever Needed Someone S is a great opener for Vault (greatest hits). From the sound of it, I believe the song can be a big radio hit. Hysteria is the most memorable and astounding. Bringin’ On The Heartbreak has to be one of the most beautiful tracks on the entire album.

This disc has all of the essential Atari Teenage Riot classics. This is the first studio album from Atari Teenage Riot since bad diagnosis in 1995. This compilation contains all of the biggest hits by Atari Teenage Riot. Great Rock: Hard-Rock right here!
Into The Death is pretty funky and mellow. Raverbashing is one of those songs that will put you in a good mood. Speed - To me, this is the best song on the Delete Yourself. Atari Teenage Riot offers the kind of music here that makes you reflect on yourself. Midijunkies is a great opener for Delete Yourself. Delete Yourself! You Got No Chance To Win (Live In Glasgow 17.10.1993) is a excellent song and it grows on you. Hetzjagd Auf Nazis ! (Live In Berlin 25.2.1994) can be hardly overrated by any means; this is what Atari Teenage Riot is all about. Cyberpunks Are Dead! is the best music that I have heard from anyone in any area of music. Kids Are United! as a highlight of Delete Yourself contains a ton of excellent melodies. Listening to Atari Teenage Riot you can hear that Atari Teenage Riot has still amazing chemistry with band members. Overall a nice softer song.

Since completing 1995’s ‘Breakin’ In The Gun’, Vince Neil fulfilled their contract with Dance To The Radio and where under no obligation to release another album. I think this is best Rock: Hard-Rock album. This album has some very good songs like Breakin’ In The Gun and The Crawl. Carved In Stone album is a scorcher!
The Crawl is beautiful, yet underrated track. Within the first few notes of One Way it’s perfectly clear that Vince Neil is living this song. Black Promises is quite refreshing and sets the tone for what is going on in Carved In Stone. Blew our minds when we first heard Skylar’s Song. I hope to keep hearing Vince Neil works for a long time to come. Writing On The Wall is perhaps one of the best tracks of the past decade. Album opener Find A Dream is a bright, upbeat ditty. A great put together song. The Rift very upbeat.

Out Of My Tree is an amazing album, racked with beauty. There is so much to love about John Sykes, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. John Sykes is work hard for Out Of My Tree. Out Of My Tree is not something you should pass up.
Music of I Don’t Wanna Live My Life Like You is gentle, never overbearing. This is one of those tracks that should not be judged after the first hearing. John Sykes breathes new life into the music in Standing At The Crossroads. I Don’t Believe In Anything is a striking and quite long song. Voice and instruments in Black Days complement each other. Jesus & Mary is a nice, innocuous song, and much better than anything John Sykes released so far. This track is a killer, it just grabs you instantly. If You Ever Need Love - To me, this is the best song on the Out Of My Tree. Sleep On is another strong production from John Sykes.

Matters Of Survival CD - one of the best in Rock: Hard-Rock. Axxis is work hard for Matters Of Survival. On Matters Of Survival album, Axxis have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. To me Axxis is the best ever.
This song may be the most meaningful. What sets C’est La Vie apart is Axxis’s innovative and organic way of creating atmospheres. Get Matters Of Survival and turn on On My Own if you are going to sip your wine late at night. I came to like Just A Story. I have all of Axxis’s tracks and All My Life is probably the most his introspective effort. Freedom Comes is, without a doubt, my favorite song, ever. Outside of the singles, my favorite song on Matters Of Survival is Another Day. Simple and heartfelt closing track Fan The Flames closes Matters Of Survival on a high note. Axxis is one of artists that allow his songs like Watch Out to stand on their own and be heard. Axxis has created something that grabs you by the heart and gets you moving. Listening to Back In My Bones you can hear that Axxis has still amazing chemistry with band members.

When you buy a Skid Row album, you know exactly what you’re getting! It’s natural for Skid Row to take a stab at ‘My Enemy’ considering her long-professed love for D’NASH. Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Skid Row on ‘My Enemy’. Subhuman Race - another great offering from Skid Row.
Firesign - is a breath or fresh air compared to many previous songs of Skid Row. Bonehead is a very catchy tune. Beat Yourself Blind - arguably the best track on Subhuman Race album. Opening track Eileen shows the best of Skid Row. Skid Row offers the kind of music here that makes you reflect on yourself. Subhuman Race is one of the coolest songs Skid Row has ever recorded. Frozen is sonically very melodic with nice haunting verses. Into Another is a great song to contemplate the modern music and what it really is all about. Some of the arrangements found on Subhuman Race are surprisingly edgy. I like to sing along with Medicine Jar, though I mess up the lyrics sometimes. Although Breakin’ Down is very melodic it is far from sad. This song has very few things relative to that of it’s predecessor.

For older fans Screamin’ Live will put a massive smile accross your face. Now signed to Pretty Maids’s Birdman Records, the title track from second album “Screamin’ Live” leads Pretty Maids’s back-to-school campaign. There is so much to love about Pretty Maids, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. Psycho-Time-Bomb-Planet-Earth and Rock The House is really good.
I can’t stop playing Rock The House. This track is almost perfect, instrumentals and vocals combine awesomely. Walk Away is simple, dignified and effective, Pretty Maids refusing to over-emote, and demonstrating that less is more. Scream is probably one of Pretty Maids’s biggest successes for the album - it’s lovely to listen to. Yellow Rain rocked my world when I popped it into my car stereo. Sin-Decade I just LOVE this mix! I believe Savage Heart is one of the most marvelous, heartfelt songs ever written. No Messiah is possibly the most mysterious and inexplicable track Pretty Maids ever produced. The song feels complete. Lovegames presents the cool mix of instruments on Screamin’ Live. A great put together song. First time I heard Back To Back was on radio driving in my car and sonically it just sounded amazing. One of the songs that always stick in my mind is Red Hot and Heavy because the melody in the chorus is so good.

You need to listen Life. It’s really cool. I am not a real Rock: Hard-Rock music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Life’ really is amazing. Since Talisman last CD (Life) on Alveran Records back in 1995, I have felt a massive void in my life. Lots of variety between tracks. My favorite is Temptation
This track is nearly perfect if not perfect. Still going through Life and coming to appreciate A Life more and more with every listen. Sympathy has a beautifully haunting disco flavor. No Talisman song has come close to capturing my attention as All That Really Matters did. Talisman is hitting on all cylinders in Loveblind. When I listen to Crazy in my car when traffic ain’t going so good. So Long without a doubt is the standout song of Life. Body is really the reason why I recommend buying Life. This song is dynamic and dramatic. How Was I 2 Know (Bonus) as a highlight of Life contains a ton of astounding melodies. Hands Of Time (Bonus) to me is the best you can get from Talisman.

This is the first studio album from Richie Kotzen since bad diagnosis in 1995. The Inner Galactic Fusion Experience isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. The Inner Galactic Fusion Experience really suprise for me from Richie Kotzen. I Love The Inner Galactic Fusion Experience from start to finish!
Put Dose into car stereo for your highway driving All of songs on The Inner Galactic Fusion Experience and have something to say letting alone Hypnotist. Ultramatic is pretty funky and mellow. It took me a little time but I ended up loving Trick. Stark on The Inner Galactic Fusion Experience is solid and easy to listen to. I was truly moved when I heard Hype. This is one hell of a track. Last Words is possibly the most mysterious and inexplicable track Richie Kotzen ever produced.

Stranger In Us All really suprise for me from Rainbow. Rikki Toldo has compared writing for Rainbow’s new album to that on ‘Stranger In Us All’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. This is one of the best Cd’s Rainbow has dropped to date. Stranger In Us All touched my soul like nothing else.
After few listenings I started to like Cold Hearted Woman more and more. Hunting Humans (Insatiable) is an incredible song that has everything it needs to be another favorite track. Overall a nice softer song. Ariel is a excellent song and it grows on you. In Too Late For Tears you won’t find any flashy solos. Black Masquerade rocked my world when I popped it into my car stereo. Silence has to be one of the most beautiful tracks on the entire album. Hall Of The Mountain King is really a nice song to relax and listen too. Still I’m Sad pretty much defines how I feel spiritually.

On Helpyourselfish album, D.A.D. have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. Dr. Chemical has compared writing for D.A.D.’s new album to that on ‘Helpyourselfish’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. two years ago, D.A.D. briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Written In Water”. Helpyourselfish is what good Rock: Hard-Rock should be.
D.A.D. is one of artists that allow his songs like Written In Water to stand on their own and be heard. Helpyourselfish was the first single release from the album Helpyourselfish. Listening to Soulbender you can hear that D.A.D. has still amazing chemistry with band members. Unowned I just LOVE this mix! Only one song from Helpyourselfish named Candid really got me. Blood In/Out is astounding. Prayin’ To A God gives good insight into the truths. This song could easily nestle itself onto the world top playlists. After you’ve listened to Are We Alive Here???, most everything else can’t hold up and is second rate. It’swhenit’swrongit’sright which is my favorite is a truly D.A.D. sounding song. Flat is another strong production from D.A.D..

This album has some very good songs like Burn On The Flame and Stairway To The Stars. ‘Hit Singles A&B Sides CD2′ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. Musically Stairway To The Stars is superior to other tracks in Hit Singles A&B Sides CD2.

Firme one of my best. Linda O’Real has compared writing for Voodoo Glow Skulls’s new album to that on ‘Firme’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. There were many famous songs of Voodoo Glow Skulls available. Shoot The Moon and Closet Monster is really good.
Closet Monster - arguably the best track on Firme album. After you’ve listened to Charlie Brown, most everything else can’t hold up and is second rate. In Drunk Tank it becomes nowhere more obvious that Voodoo Glow Skulls has yet to define own style. This song is dynamic and dramatic. Voodoo Glow Skulls has astounded me with this amazing track. Give Me Someone I Can Trust is filled with very deep emotions that will truly touch your heart. Empty Bottles has to be one of the most beautiful tracks on the entire album. Fat Randy sets the tone for the entire album. This is the most melodic ambitious and satisfying track in Firme. El Coo Coo is the albums lead single as well as biggest hit. Music and lyrics of Method To This Madness creates, for me, fertile ground for daydreaming. Construction is beautiful, yet underrated track. Malas Palabras - This happy song is an ode to optimism and an anthem. Nicotine Fit is really the reason why I recommend buying Firme. Voice of Voodoo Glow Skulls in Land Of Misfit Toys is honest and guitar work is subtle and poignant.

While no new Uli Jon Roth album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 1995 tour in Europe. This is one of greatest albums of Uli Jon Roth. There is so much to love about Uli Jon Roth, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. IT makes me wanna dance!
Prologue To The Symphonic Legends - Thunder Bay is absolutely incredible. Uli Jon Roth must have run out of lyrics on the next track Prologue To The Symphonic Legends - Pegasus. Prologue To The Symphonic Legends - Starships Of one is one of the better boring ones. Listening to Prologue To The Symphonic Legends - Winds Of War you can hear that Uli Jon Roth has still amazing chemistry with band members. Prologue To The Symphonic Legends - Sky Valley - I like this one. In Prologue To The Symphonic Legends - The Wings Of you won’t find any flashy solos. Such hits like Prologue To The Symphonic Legends - Until The End will leave you hooked. Don’t judge Prologue To The Symphonic Legends - Tod Und on the first listening. Prologue To The Symphonic Legends - E Lucevan Le is a striking and quite long song. Prologue To The Symphonic Legends - Starlight on From Here To Eternity ( CD3) is solid and easy to listen to. This song is dynamic and dramatic. This is the kind of song I think of when I think of Uli Jon Roth. This is one of those songs that musicians strive to write and create. Uli Jon Roth sings his heart out in Aquila Suite - Ballerina - Dance With Infinity. I listened to the opening track Aquila Suite - Aprilis - Melting Snow Of The North and liked it a lot. Aquila Suite - Cygnus - The Swan Of The West is, without a doubt, my favorite song, ever. Aquila Suite - Aeolos - Father Of Winds gets you up and jumping. After few listenings I started to like Aquila Suite - Flora - Bride Of The Summer Wind more and more. Aquila Suite - Boreas - Northeast Winter Wind marked the continuation of Uli Jon Roth in style evolution. I’ve found myself listening to Aquila Suite - Lethe - River Of Oblivion - Arpege back to back and back many times. Aquila Suite - Galatea - Daughter Of Oceans is a bit different from Uli Jon Roth stereotypical stuff. I like the idea behind Aquila Suite - Aqua Vitae - Poseidon’s Water Of Life.

Such hits like Take Me Swiftly will leave you hooked. Voice of Dangerous Toys in Heard It All is honest and guitar work is subtle and poignant. Transmission is another strong production from Dangerous Toys. Words On The Wall - A classic Dangerous Toys track. This is one of those songs that musicians strive to write and create. I think this is best Rock: Hard-Rock album. Europe is work hard for 1982-1992. 1982-1992 carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. 1982-1992 is the best album I have heard in a long time
Seven Doors Hotel - a classic song. Open Your Heart makes a person feel cool. Scream Of Anger had me crying as I was able to relate so well. Dreamer is one of the coolest songs Europe has ever recorded. The Final Countdown is possibly the most mysterious and inexplicable track Europe ever produced. I was truly moved when I heard Sweet Love Child. Rock The Night is nothing but pure genius. Carrie is the more seemingly obscure song on 1982-1992 that bear up best to repeated listening. Cherokee has to be one of the most beautiful tracks on the entire album. I can’t stop humming along Superstitious. Ready Or Not is the song that really did it for me. Machine II Machine (Electric Mix) was the first single release from the album Machine II Machine Electric Club Mixes. Doro sings his heart out in Ceremony (Krupps Mix). Tie Me Up (Herd and Fast Mix) is an incredible song that has everything it needs to be another favorite track. The Want (Give It Up Mix) - I like this one. I think Scratch ‘n’ Sniff is the best song Sweet has ever done. You Don’t Care About Me rocked my world when I popped it into my car stereo. Fountain hits the heart. You’re Not Wrong For Loving Me is a very good song maybe surprisingly better than you at first might’ve imagined. Strong Love is sonically very melodic with nice haunting verses. Lead single “Gazpacho” and “Cannibal Surf Babe” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. Afraid Of Sunlight is preety good and all the songs have a good meaning behind them.
Cannibal Surf Babe is a nice, innocuous song, and much better than anything Marillion released so far. Beautiful - isn’t quite as powerful vocally, but has a beautiful melody. Afraid Of Sunrise is a bit different from Marillion stereotypical stuff. Vocals of Marillion in Out Of This World really capture me and are set perfectly to the rhythm. Album opener Afraid Of Sunlight is a bright, upbeat ditty. Beyond You is a excellent song and it grows on you. When listening to King, it gives me such an energy rush it’s unbelievable.

This compilation contains all of the biggest hits by Slaughter. On Fear No Evil album, Slaughter have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. Slaughter was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Slaughter and Fear No Evil together. Fear No Evil is one of the best cd’s i have heard through the whole thing.
From the moment you listen to Get Used To It you’re hooked. First time I heard Searchin’ was on radio driving in my car and sonically it just sounded amazing.I believe It’ll Be Alright is one of the most exquisite, heartfelt songs ever written. In Let The Good Times Roll full palet of sound is used by Slaughter to accentuate the presentation. Breakdown ‘N’ Cry is a great opener for Fear No Evil. This is the kind of song I think of when I think of Slaughter. In Divine Order Slaughter is at his best. This is the most melodic ambitious and satisfying track in Fear No Evil. Prelude is possibly the best song Slaughter has come up. Outta My Head - Okay, I just talked about depth. Unknown Destination is the best music that I have heard from anyone in any area of music.

Evolution carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. There is so much to love about Tony Macalpine, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. This is one of greatest albums of Tony Macalpine. Last Hot Album by Tony Macalpine
Oversea Evolution had me crying as I was able to relate so well. Eccentrist is a cool song and it grows on you. Time Table is a good listen every once in a while. Seville is a very catchy tune. The sound in Futurism is really warm and Tony Macalpine’s signature voice is still very much present. I like the agression and power of Etude Nr. 5 Opus 10. Put Powerfield into car stereo for your highway driving Some call Plastic People from Evolution as a quiet invitation of an artist to sit and listen. All of songs on Evolution and have something to say letting alone Sinfonia. You can find feelings on this piece of art.

Now signed to Uriah Heep’s Carbon Copy Media, the title track from second album “Sea Of Light” leads Uriah Heep’s back-to-school campaign. This compilation contains all of the biggest hits by Uriah Heep. Since completing 1995’s ‘Against the Odds’, Uriah Heep fulfilled their contract with Carbon Copy Media and where under no obligation to release another album. One of Uriah Heep’s best albums yet.
Sweet Sugar is beautiful, yet underrated track. Time of Revelation is a nice, innocuous song, and much better than anything Uriah Heep released so far. Mistress of All Time catches attention immediately, It is succeeded by an outstanding track, however: Universal Wheels, which shows, blatantly, how much Uriah Heep has evolved as a singer. Fear of Falling (4:39) - awsome. This track is a killer, it just grabs you instantly. The sound in Logical Progression is really warm and Uriah Heep’s signature voice is still very much present. It’s such an underrated song. Vocal harmonies in this track are great and song structure is just right. This track is full of harmonies and gets Sea Of Light off to a relaxing start. Strong percussion and poignant lyrics of this track really gets under your skin.
