Bismillah Khan had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. two years ago, Bismillah Khan briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Raag.Yamaan.pt2″. Sublime Notes one of my best. Great Ethnic right here!
When listening to Raag.Yamaan.pt2, it gives me such an energy rush it’s unbelievable. First time I heard Chaiti.Dhun was on radio driving in my car and sonically it just sounded amazing.

This disc has all of the essential Al-Kindi Ensemble classics. This is one of the best Cd’s Al-Kindi Ensemble has dropped to date. Al-Kindi Ensemble is work hard for Sufi Songs of Damascus. IF you love Al-Kindi Ensemble, ‘Sufi Songs of Damascus’ Mp3’s is the best!
I was truly moved when I heard Al-Salam Al-Rabi: Taqsim Huzam/Taqsim Sikah/Mawwal Sikah. If you are a Al-Kindi Ensemble fan, you will love Ghayri Ala S-Sulwan Qadir…: Taqsim Rast Qanun/Taqsim Rast Nay/Layali Rast/Ibtihal Bayyati. Ghayri Ala S-Sulwan Qadir…: Taqsim Rast Qanun/Taqsim Rast Nay/Layali Rast/Ibtihal Bayyati gives good insight into the truths. Chanting (Tartil) Of The Qur’an is a very good song maybe surprisingly better than you at first might’ve imagined.

I am not a real Ethnic music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Kord Bayat’ really is amazing. Kord Bayat CD - one of the best in Ethnic. ‘Kord Bayat’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. Exciting stuff.
Music and lyrics of Saba (Main Section) creates, for me, fertile ground for daydreaming. Dobayti (Excerpt) gives taste of what makes Jalal Zolfonun special as a musician. One of the more genuine-sounding songs is Kord Bayat. Dobayti (Prelude) is perhaps one of the best tracks of the past decade. Dobayti (Main Section) is outstanding work of Jalal Zolfonun. Shur - Check out that bassline! Layli (First Section) is a very catchy tune. Layli (Second Section) is another favourite of mine. I loved Shahrashub the first time I heard it. Hud Hud - A classic Jalal Zolfonun track. You have to get essence of the Oshshaq’s power, to truly understand this masterpiece.

There is no doubt that Ethnic - Various Artists has talent and Echoes Of Incas - Ventana Al Sol is great. While no new Ethnic - Various Artists album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 1995 tour in South America. On Echoes Of Incas - Ventana Al Sol album, Ethnic - Various Artists have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. Overall, I would highly recommend Echoes Of Incas - Ventana Al Sol CD.
Bailando Con La Luna is gorgeous song though, very addictive. I was truly moved when I heard Tiahuanaco. This is one of those tracks that should not be judged after the first hearing. Tormenta De Fuego (5:00) Not one of my favorites, but for a lot of people this is one of their best songs. Album opener Vuelo Nocturno is a bright, upbeat ditty. Ventana Al Sol (5:32) a good melody. This song could easily nestle itself onto the world top playlists. Cristalino is pretty funky and mellow. Aranjuez is the kind of record that makes you remember why music can be so addictive. Orilla Del Mar is the best music that I have heard from anyone in any area of music.

On the Denmark charts, superstar Ofra Haza’s career stalled before it left the starting gate. Ofra Haza’s debut, ‘The Golden Album Cd1′, does not fit easily into one genre. This disc has all of the essential Ofra Haza classics. The Golden Album Cd1 is the best album I have heard in a long time
Gabriel was the first single release from the album The Golden Album Cd1. The beautiful sound of this track makes you want to close your eyes and sway away with the music. Hageshem is worth the money. Ein Zman Litot is an incredible song that has everything it needs to be another favorite track. Shir Hafrecha on The Golden Album Cd1 is solid and easy to listen to. A fantastic track full of wonder. Ofra Haza emotions are reflected through Amen Lamilim. Yad Beyad great lyrics, dark, deep, angry and cool.Misheo Holech Tamid Iti the elegant and beautiful song on the album is hard to describe. The sound of Azor Li is difficult to describe, as it seems to squirm in a sensual manner, unlike anything ever created. Other tracks are good but your best bet is to stick with Sof Kaitz. In Galbi the music gets its power. This track is a fabulous selection of easy listening, suitable for any age, taste or occasion. Vocals of Ofra Haza in Bait Ham really capture me and are set perfectly to the rhythm. Simanim Shei O’havim is a bit of a show-tune. Malcat Haksamim as well as many of songs is a short story in miniature. Music of Adama is gentle, never overbearing. What sets Fantasy apart is Ofra Haza’s innovative and organic way of creating atmospheres. From the sound of it, I believe the song can be a big radio hit. It’s also one of those rare songs that touchingly comfort the listener. Ben Parvar which is my favorite is a truly Ofra Haza sounding song. Kaitz sets the tone for the entire album. Rahamim is nothing but pure genius.

When you buy a Yat-Kha album, you know exactly what you’re getting! After debuting at No. 1 last week, Yat-Kha’s album Tundra’s Ghost’s falls to No. 2 with 840,000, a sales slide of 70%. I am not a real Ethnic music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Tundra’s Ghost’s’ really is amazing. Tundra’s Ghost’s touched my soul like nothing else.
Chaa-Hol (Tuvian Folk Song) is simple, dignified and effective, Yat-Kha refusing to over-emote, and demonstrating that less is more. Once you hear Azianz Churec (Heart Of Asia), you will listen to it over and over. Teve-Haya (Tuvian Folk Song) is possibly the best song Yat-Kha has come up. The song Albys-Shulbus ending is my favorite… so catchy! After about the third Antropofagy listen through, I began to believe this song is Yat-Kha’s essence. This song has very few things relative to that of it’s predecessor. Don’t judge Haiyr-khan (Mounting Spirit-hider) on the first listening. Khunguray (Tuvian Tramp Song) - I just love it. Mejegei Valley (Tuvian Folk Song) is an underrated song: I like its lyrics and melody a lot. Shaman (Old Shaman Song) have really caught my ear and imagination. This is one hell of a track. This track, in particular, has the kind of undeniably catchy flavor. Tundra’s Ghosts (Epilogue) hits the heart.

It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Ethnic - Various Artists energies, virtually a rebirth. I guess you need to listen Sorrow throughout the nine worlds as soon as possible. On Sorrow throughout the nine worlds album, Ethnic - Various Artists have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. Exciting stuff.
I like The Arrival Of The Fimbul Winter because it’s extremely catchy and has awesome drumming. Get Sorrow throughout the nine worlds and turn on Burning Creation if you are going to sip your wine late at night. The Mighty Doors Of The Speargod’s Hall is kind of track that compels you to skip back and drink it in one more time before moving on through Sorrow throughout the nine worlds. Under The Grayclouded Winter Sky is the more seemingly obscure song on Sorrow throughout the nine worlds that bear up best to repeated listening.

On Gypsy Fire album, Omar Faruk Tekkbilek and Richard A. Hagopian have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. This album has some very good songs like Rompi Rompi and Nihavent. There is no doubt that Omar Faruk Tekkbilek and Richard A. Hagopian has talent and Gypsy Fire is great.I love Gypsy Fire so much, i’ve been crazy about Omar Faruk Tekkbilek and Richard A. Hagopian ever.
Nihavent was the first single release from the album Gypsy Fire. This track is clearly meant to showcase Omar Faruk Tekkbilek and Richard A. Hagopian’s vocal abilities. Music of Kadife is gentle, never overbearing. Muhabbet - A classic Omar Faruk Tekkbilek and Richard A. Hagopian track. Minoush - is a breath or fresh air compared to many previous songs of Omar Faruk Tekkbilek and Richard A. Hagopian. Omar Faruk Tekkbilek and Richard A. Hagopian offers the kind of music here that makes you reflect on yourself. In Konyali you won’t find any flashy solos. Beledy is a great song to contemplate the modern music and what it really is all about. Siseler is maybe the best thing the group’s ever done.

It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of American Indian Dancers and Singers energies, virtually a rebirth. This compilation contains all of the biggest hits by American Indian Dancers and Singers. This is one of greatest albums of American Indian Dancers and Singers. American Indian Ceremonial and War Dances touched my soul like nothing else.
In Tewa - The Prisoner Song it becomes nowhere more obvious that American Indian Dancers and Singers has yet to define own style. Apache - A Girl and Many Boys is another favourite of mine. Once you hear Pima - Mountain by the Sea, you will listen to it over and over. Apache - The Mescalero Trail is, without a doubt, my favorite song, ever. Montana Grass Song, Sioux is one of the best records ever. Mountain Spirit Song, Apache gives taste of what makes American Indian Dancers and Singers special as a musician. Lightning Song, Apache still maintains something of a specific flourish. Papago - Song of the Black Mountain is simply cool. Papago - Song of the Green Rainbow is simple, dignified and effective, American Indian Dancers and Singers refusing to over-emote, and demonstrating that less is more. Voice of American Indian Dancers and Singers in Navahoe - Yei-Be-Chai Chant is honest and guitar work is subtle and poignant. Paiute - Our Father’s Thoughts - arguably the best track on American Indian Ceremonial and War Dances album. Ponca - War Dance - American Indian Dancers and Singers first major hit. Taos - War Dance is the first taste of the new album. This track is nearly perfect if not perfect. Kiowa - War Dance, fast is a song that will not reduce you to tears but leave you thinking long after American Indian Ceremonial and War Dances have ended. Arikara - Warrior Song is one of my favorite songs by American Indian Dancers and Singers. Music of Sioux - Honoring Song is gentle, never overbearing. Musically Navahoe - Glory Song is superior to other tracks in American Indian Ceremonial and War Dances. Vocal harmonies in this track are great and song structure is just right.

On the Romania charts, superstar Ethnic - Various Artists’s career stalled before it left the starting gate. Ethnic - Various Artists had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. This is the first studio album from Ethnic - Various Artists since bad diagnosis in 1995. You need to listen Vol. 1 - Ethnic Music Classics, 1925-48 right now
This track is full of harmonies and gets Vol. 1 - Ethnic Music Classics, 1925-48 off to a relaxing start. Russia / Savelli Walevitch is a fine track on any terms. Vocal harmonies in this track are great and song structure is just right. Don’t judge Rajahstan / Bhoora Singh and Party on the first listening. Cuba / Septeto Matamoros is nothing but pure genius. Rumania / Anon. Group is flawed, nonetheless pretty good song. Viet Nam / Hoang-Vuy is the albums biggest surprise. Macedonia / Stephanya G. Penchevya make listening to Ethnic - Various Artists like being in some sort of time warp. One of the more genuine-sounding songs is Society Islands / Les Tamaru. Morocco / Raoul Journo rocked my world when I popped it into my car stereo. South Africa / Zwabesho Sibisi is maybe the best thing the group’s ever done. I can’t stop humming along Japan / Imperial Household Orchestra. India / Master Manahar Barve is the kind of record that makes you remember why music can be so addictive. The Basque / Triki-Triki is a great song to contemplate the modern music and what it really is all about. This track is a killer, it just grabs you instantly. This song may be the most meaningful. Ethnic - Various Artists sings his heart out in Poland / Goralska Orkiestra. This song stands out greatly from the others. Abyssinia (Ethiopia) / Haile, Ighigou, et al. I just LOVE this mix! Andalucia (Spain) / La Nica De Los Peines is sonically very melodic with nice haunting verses. Visayan Islands / Duetto Pamolinao is one of my favorite songs by Ethnic - Various Artists. Awesome song is really all that you can say about it.

Afghanistan: A Journey to an Unknown Musical World isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. Ethnic - Various Artists had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. Lead single “Lovesong from Herat” and “Shah Kokojan” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. Check it every song is worth the money for the Afghanistan: A Journey to an Unknown Musical World CD!
Shah Kokojan is another favourite of mine. As always, Ethnic - Various Artists’s lyrics are worth listening to again and again. Shighnani Flower, Lovesong from Takhar is such a excellent and optimistic song that things can get just better. This is one of those songs that musicians strive to write and create. Laili and Madjnun, Ballad form Kunduz - A classic Ethnic - Various Artists track. My Beloved Walks in the Garden, Lovesong from the Mazar Region - I like this one. Ghichak Solo is one of those songs that will put you in a good mood. Bulbul, Song from the Mazar Region has a beautifully haunting disco flavor. Babolale, Lovesong from Paktia (4:32) - awsome. Yellow Flower, Shepherd Song Form Paktia is probably the most interesting track on Afghanistan: A Journey to an Unknown Musical World. Ethnic - Various Artists sings Sarinda Solo in such a comforting, confident voice that you can’t help but be moved. Laila, Lovesong from Logar is the most memorable and exquisite. Nuristani Dancesong has to be one of the most beautiful tracks on the entire album. A fantastic track full of wonder. I can’t stop playing Shah Kokojan. Simple and heartfelt closing track Syamui and Jalali, Lovesong Form Herat closes Afghanistan: A Journey to an Unknown Musical World on a high note.

Track 2 is the albums biggest surprise. Once Track 3 gets in your head, it will NEVER leave. I think Track 4 is the best song Sarit Hadad has ever done. Track 5 sets the tone for the entire album. Still going through Nitzotz Hahaim and coming to appreciate Track 6 more and more with every listen. Track 7 is the kind of record that makes you remember why music can be so addictive. Track 8 catches attention immediately, Track 9 is astounding. Track 10 is a bit different from Sarit Hadad stereotypical stuff. Track 11 is the more seemingly obscure song on Nitzotz Hahaim that bear up best to repeated listening.

Since completing 1995’s ‘Fra Dei’, Jean-Marc Zelwer fulfilled their contract with Blackball Records and where under no obligation to release another album. Self-described as Ethnic with lots of words, Jean-Marc Zelwer comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. Exciting stuff.
Les Trompettes Du Diable is maybe the best thing the group’s ever done. Vendo Speranza is a great opener for Les Dieux Sont Faches. E Viva L’Amor! is almost impossible to review. Some call Dio E Arrabbiato from Les Dieux Sont Faches as a quiet invitation of an artist to sit and listen. This is the most melodic ambitious and satisfying track in Les Dieux Sont Faches. You have to get essence of the Querelle Biblique’s power, to truly understand this masterpiece. I like Simplicissimus because it’s extremely catchy and has awesome drumming. Les Tresors Du Vatican - This one is lively and fun. It took me a little time but I ended up loving Le Jour Ou Allah Bouddha. This is one hell of a track. Through Cinemas - I used to hate this song, but now it’s one of my favorites. I came to like Shrine Of Sringar. Vocals of Loop Guru in Under Influence really capture me and are set perfectly to the rhythm. Duniya couldn’t start better than with the up up-beat title track Tchengo. This song has very few things relative to that of it’s predecessor. Although Till Hell Freezes Over is very melodic it is far from sad. Music in Rose-a-lee is astounding as in all tracks of The world and elsewhere. Love Like A Rocket is filled with very deep emotions that will truly touch your heart. The song feels complete. Coming Home Tonight has to be one of the most beautiful tracks on the entire album. Love Can Change Your Heart the elegant and beautiful song on the album is hard to describe. Till You Follow Me is a amazing song and it grows on you. Last Train presents the exquisite mix of instruments on The world and elsewhere. When The Lightning Strikes as well as many of songs is a short story in miniature. This is the kind of song I think of when I think of Ethnic - Various Artists. Where Sorry’s Not Enough is astounding song though, very addictive. No Ethnic - Various Artists song has come close to capturing my attention as Tell Me Why did. Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow - A catchy, upbeat tune. Who The F–K Is Alice is new, fresh, and hypnotizing.

This is one of greatest albums of Ustad Rahim Khushnawaz. Ustad Rahim Khushnawaz’s debut, ‘Rubib anmd Dutir’, does not fit easily into one genre. This is one of the best Cd’s Ustad Rahim Khushnawaz has dropped to date. Rubib anmd Dutir is what good Ethnic should be.
Chahirberti Silhumu Wa Jalali - I like this one. It’s such an underrated song. From the moment you listen to Jim-E Noreji you’re hooked. This song is dynamic and dramatic. Naghmeh-E Kashl En Raga Yemen is outstanding work of Ustad Rahim Khushnawaz. It is succeeded by an outstanding track, however: Naghmeh-E Kashl En Raga Bhimpalasi, which shows, blatantly, how much Ustad Rahim Khushnawaz has evolved as a singer. IF YOU LIKE ALL Madredeus’S SONG GO FOR IT! Ainda CD - one of the best in Ethnic. Great album Ainda - just must listen it! I greatly enjoyed this CD.
There is perfect mix of music in Milagre. Ceu Da Mouraria - This one has a powerful beat and a good melody. This track is almost perfect, instrumentals and vocals combine awesomely. Although A Cidade E Os Campos is very melodic it is far from sad. I came to like O Tejo. Viagens Interditas is an upbeat song with a constant snare hit. Madredeus is one of artists that allow his songs like Alfama to stand on their own and be heard. Ainda is a strong cut, one of many. Maio Maduro Maio - This one is lively and fun.

Putumayo was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Putumayo and Cairo To Casablanca together. I think this is best Ethnic album. After debuting at No. 1 last week, Putumayo’s album Cairo To Casablanca falls to No. 2 with 848,000, a sales slide of 83%. Last Hot Album by Putumayo
After about the third Mabrouk Wo Arisna - Ali Hassan Kuban (Egypt) listen through, I began to believe this song is Putumayo’s essence. Ki Kounty - Khaled (Algeria) is an incredible song that has everything it needs to be another favorite track. Dikra - Raina Rai (Algeria) hits the heart. The song feels complete. Zwit Rwit - Idir (Algeria) is possibly the best song Putumayo has come up. Ya Maalem - Maurice El Mediouni (Algeria) is a good listen every once in a while. Leali - Rasha (Svdan) - I just love it. I hope to keep hearing Putumayo works for a long time to come. Madanitche - Kadda Cherif Hadria (Algeria) is excellent work of Putumayo.

This album has some very good songs like Genggong Duo, Gamelan Genggong, Frogs & Cicadas and Gamelan Selonding, Gending Nyangjangan. This disc has all of the essential Ethnic - Various Artists classics. Bali - A Suite of Tropical Music and Sounds isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. Bali - A Suite of Tropical Music and Sounds is what good Ethnic should be.
All of songs on Bali - A Suite of Tropical Music and Sounds and have something to say letting alone Gamelan Selonding, Gending Nyangjangan. Strong percussion and poignant lyrics of this track really gets under your skin. Simple and heartfelt closing track Gamelan Joged Pingitan, Tabuh Pengalang closes Bali - A Suite of Tropical Music and Sounds on a high note. Gita Kusuma Jaya, Bamboo Wind Harp, Bamboo Xylophone is a strong cut, one of many. Voice and instruments in Gamelan Gender Wayang, Delem Tari complement each other. Gamelan Selonding, Gending Rejang Dauh Tukad - isn’t quite as powerful vocally, but has a beautiful melody. I think Trance in Paksabali & Keseiman, Gamelan Beleganjur (Cockfight) is the best song Ethnic - Various Artists has ever done. Ethnic - Various Artists rocks harder than ever with Kecak from Blakium, Near Mengwi. Gamelan Gambuh, Ginnaman Sumerades - A strong beat. This is the kind of song I think of when I think of Ethnic - Various Artists. Gamelan Jegog; Gegenderan is kind of track that compels you to skip back and drink it in one more time before moving on through Bali - A Suite of Tropical Music and Sounds. Rainforest by Lake Tambling; Heavenly Pipes (Forest Near Sidemen) pretty much defines how I feel spiritually.
