Strong percussion and poignant lyrics of this track really gets under your skin. Jean Michel Jarre sings his heart out in Chronologie 3. After you’ve listened to How Old Are You?, most everything else can’t hold up and is second rate. Equinoxe 4 is astounding. Souvenir of China very upbeat. Qu’est-ce-que l’Amour is quite refreshing and sets the tone for what is going on in Hong Kong. It took me a little time but I ended up loving Chronologie 6. A fantastic track full of wonder. Where Are You Going? is new, fresh, and hypnotizing. I can’t stop playing Oxygene 4. Music of Fishing Junks at Sunset is gentle, never overbearing. Otras couldn’t start better than with the up up-beat title track Celestial Entrance. The Derelict Fleet - David Reeves first major hit. In Auto-Plain it becomes nowhere more obvious that David Reeves has yet to define own style. As always, David Reeves’s lyrics are worth listening to again and again. Lizzard Piont - A nice song. Wolfgang Bock has astounded me with this amazing track. Tramontana still maintains something of a specific flourish. All of songs on Biscaya Sunset and have something to say letting alone Gib. Beyond The Fog has a fun tempo. Biscaya Sunset is a nice, innocuous song, and much better than anything Wolfgang Bock released so far. Bahia Boga have really caught my ear and imagination. Tristan Da Cunha (15:55) Not one of my favorites, but for a lot of people this is one of their best songs. Cap Creus is a medium tempo tune. The song feels complete.

Daytime Kiss is one of the more up-tempo songs on Makes a Racket. Erp is a song you cannot help but think about at odd moments in your day. Album opener Thunder and Clergy is a bright, upbeat ditty. Air-Stream and Heaven defines beauty, yet is as unforgiving as an astringent stone. I think this is best Electronic album. Self-described as Electronic with lots of words, Conrad Schnitzler comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. Unappreciated gift to Electronic

I was truly moved when I heard Thick Informal Smears. This song could easily nestle itself onto the world top playlists. Conrad Schnitzler has created something that grabs you by the heart and gets you moving. This track is almost perfect, instrumentals and vocals combine awesomely. Harmonium With Cream - I used to hate this song, but now it’s one of my favorites. Only one song from Control Live named Spotlight Sprinkler With Whimsical Recurrence really got me. Conrad Schnitzler must have run out of lyrics on the next track Rain Bouncing On A Propeller. Broken And Transposed Factory Alarm is a great song for a cosy night in when it’s cold and wintry outside. Processed Cheese Mouth Organ is the album’s biggest hit, I think. Golden Specks In Compressed Brass rocked my world when I popped it into my car stereo. Atonal Honking Horn Interlude With Revolving Light very upbeat. Polychromatic Interplays is one of these floating songs. Drifting Space Shuttle is a perfect, simple song by Conrad Schnitzler at the top of his game. This song is dynamic and dramatic. So much energy, so exciting a sound. In Planet Revolution Pendulum the light shines equally on lyrics, vocals and instrumentation. Glass Burial Mecanism without a doubt is the standout song of Control Live. Exploding Springs In Layers is a great opener for Control Live. The song feels complete. Jean Michel Jarre Concerts - Concert Pour La Tolerance mp3

Tuesday, January 8th, 2008

Jean Michel Jarre Concerts - Concert Pour La Tolerance imageConcerts - Concert Pour La Tolerance isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. On the Russia charts, superstar Jean Michel Jarre’s career stalled before it left the starting gate. Jean Michel Jarre is work hard for Concerts - Concert Pour La Tolerance. Concerts - Concert Pour La Tolerance is preety good and all the songs have a good meaning behind them.

I believe Chronologie 6 is one of the most exquisite, heartfelt songs ever written. After about the third Revolution, Revolutions listen through, I began to believe this song is Jean Michel Jarre’s essence. Simply the finest work ever from this multi-talented singer. Equinoxe 7 is the song that really did it for me. This track is a great song that still never gets old. Within the first few notes of Chronologie 4 it’s perfectly clear that Jean Michel Jarre is living this song. Chants Magnetiques 1 is the more seemingly obscure song on Concerts - Concert Pour La Tolerance that bear up best to repeated listening. The song Ethnicolor 1 ending is my favorite… so catchy! I came to like Les Quatres Saisons (Rondat). One listen to the sheer beauty of Revolution Industrielle - Ouverture was all I needed. Revolution Industrielle - Part 1,2,3 is perhaps one of the best tracks of the past decade. Orchestre Sous La Pluie is pretty funky and mellow. Music and lyrics of Oxygene 4 creates, for me, fertile ground for daydreaming. I think Digisequencer is the best song Jean Michel Jarre has ever done. I have all of Jean Michel Jarre’s tracks and Eldorado is probably the most his introspective effort. In Calypso the music gets its power. Discours - arguably the best track on Concerts - Concert Pour La Tolerance album. Rendez-Vous 4 is a very catchy tune.

Alien (I Am) is the best music that I have heard from anyone in any area of music. Blew our minds when we first heard Reject Your Human Touch. Blue Skin - isn’t quite as powerful vocally, but has a beautiful melody. Such hits like Beam Me Up will leave you hooked. Vega - A catchy, upbeat tune. I love the melodic melody of Xenomorph and to this day it makes me feel good. If you are a Hawkwind fan, you will love Journey. Sputnik Stan - another great track from the Alien 4 album. Kapal is an incredible song that has everything it needs to be another favorite track. Festivals is the marvelous blend of moody yet optimistic tunes. Death Trap is a bit different from Hawkwind stereotypical stuff. Nice and different song. Are You Losing Your Mind is nothing short of a modern masterpiece.

Michael Garrison Live Vol. 2 imageThis album has some very good songs like Daydreams and The Elliptical Sun. Live Vol. 2 one of my best. You need to listen Live Vol. 2. It’s really cool. Enjoy the show.

This track is almost perfect, instrumentals and vocals combine awesomely. You have to get essence of the Beyond The Cosmic Horizon’s power, to truly understand this masterpiece. It is succeeded by an outstanding track, however: To The Other Side Of The Sky, which shows, blatantly, how much Michael Garrison has evolved as a singer. I loved The Search the first time I heard it. Although Crystal Moon is very melodic it is far from sad. The sound of Theme To The Earth-Star is difficult to describe, as it seems to squirm in a sensual manner, unlike anything ever created. Airborn to me is the best you can get from Michael Garrison. Everybody’s Warrior is probably the highlight of the album. Escape is probably the most interesting track on Live Vol. 2. Landsdowne Cruise - To me, this is the best song on the Live Vol. 2.

Equinoxe (Part 4) is the kind of record that makes you remember why music can be so addictive. Ethnicolor 1 have really caught my ear and imagination. First time I heard Zoolookologie was on radio driving in my car and sonically it just sounded amazing.L’Orchestre Sous La Pluie/Band In The Rain is the albums lead single as well as biggest hit. The beautiful sound of this track makes you want to close your eyes and sway away with the music. Calypso 1 still maintains something of a specific flourish. Calypso 3 (Fin De Siecle) is simply excellent. Fourth Rendez-Vous pretty much defines how I feel spiritually. Jean Michel Jarre emotions are reflected through Moon Machine. You can find feelings on this piece of art. I hope to keep hearing Jean Michel Jarre works for a long time to come. Strong, powerful vocals of Jean Michel Jarre in Rendez-Vous are very impressive.

William Orbit Toward the Unknown Region imageWilliam Orbit’s debut, ‘Toward the Unknown Region’, does not fit easily into one genre. There were many famous songs of William Orbit available. For older fans Toward the Unknown Region will put a massive smile accross your face. It is very exciting!

Gumbo Ya-Ya - is a breath or fresh air compared to many previous songs of William Orbit. Shine On Me is a song to enjoy for years to come. In Blue Night you won’t find any flashy solos. Ruler of My Heart is nothing but pure genius. Ballad of Pearl and John (4:59) Not one of my favorites, but for a lot of people this is one of their best songs. Toward the Unknown Region one of the most beautiful songs i’ve ever heard. After about the third Slip Away listen through, I began to believe this song is William Orbit’s essence. Kang Kalika make listening to William Orbit like being in some sort of time warp. Lyrics of Field of View are precise and evocative. I find myself hearing bits of Shine On Me (aurora mix) here and there throughout my waking hours.
