Vanessa Mae The Violin Player mp3

Monday, April 7th, 2008

Vanessa Mae The Violin Player imageThere were many famous songs of Vanessa Mae available. This is the first studio album from Vanessa Mae since bad diagnosis in 1995. Now signed to Vanessa Mae’s Displeased Records, the title track from second album “The Violin Player” leads Vanessa Mae’s back-to-school campaign. Unappreciated gift to Classical

Contradanza has a fun tempo. I find myself hearing bits of Classical Gas here and there throughout my waking hours. I hope to keep hearing Vanessa Mae works for a long time to come. Warm Air is a sure sign of something most of us are experiencing, maturity. Jazz Will Eat Itself - a classic song. Vanessa Mae has astounded me with this amazing track. Tequila Mockingbird is flawed, nonetheless pretty good song. City Theme is the best music that I have heard from anyone in any area of music. This track is a great song that still never gets old. Classical Gas (Reggae Version) marked the continuation of Vanessa Mae in style evolution.

Maria Callas Great Moments Of... (Cd 1) imageThis compilation contains all of the biggest hits by Maria Callas. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Maria Callas energies, virtually a rebirth. Maria Callas is work hard for Great Moments Of… (Cd 1). It is very exciting!

Maria Callas is hitting on all cylinders in I Puritani (Bellini) - O Rendetemi La Speme - Qui La Voce. In this song fans will recognize the unique vocals of Maria Callas. The sound of Il Barbiere Di Seviglia (Rossini) - Une Voce Poco Fa is difficult to describe, as it seems to squirm in a sensual manner, unlike anything ever created. It’s also one of those rare songs that touchingly comfort the listener. La Sonnambula (Bellini) - Ah! Non Credea Mirarti - For me, this is the best of the album. La Vestale (Spontini) - Tu Che Invovo is the kind of record that makes you remember why music can be so addictive. Music in Lucia Di Lammermoor (Donizetti) - Regnava Nel Silenzio is exquisite as in all tracks of Great Moments Of… (Cd 1). Medea (Cherubini) - Dei Tuoi Figli La Madre gets you up and jumping. Norma (Bellini) - Casta Diva has a beautifully haunting disco flavor. Norma (Bellini) - Fine Al Rito… - Ah! Bello A Me Ritorna is a striking and quite long song.

Mozart, Wolfgang Amadeus Concerto For Horn and Orchestra No 1, D Major, Kv 412 imageLead single “Allegro” and “Rondo Allegro” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. You need to listen Concerto For Horn and Orchestra No 1, D Major, Kv 412. It’s really cool. Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Mozart, Wolfgang Amadeus on ‘Allegro’. Concerto For Horn and Orchestra No 1, D Major, Kv 412 is one of the best cd’s i have heard through the whole thing.

Rondo Allegro - This happy song is an ode to optimism and an anthem. Allegro Maestoso - I used to hate this song, but now it’s one of my favorites. This track, in particular, has the kind of undeniably catchy flavor. Simple and heartfelt closing track Rondo closes Concerto For Horn and Orchestra No 1, D Major, Kv 412 on a high note. Allegro is absolutely incredible. Romanza=larghetto is such a excellent and optimistic song that things can get just better. Song Allegro is actually a funny song. Allegro Moderato catches attention immediately, I loved Romanza=andante the first time I heard it. I came to like Rondo=allegro Vivace.

Mozart, Wolfgang Amadeus Symphony No 41, C Major, K 551 Since Mozart, Wolfgang Amadeus last CD (Symphony No 41, C Major, K 551 “Jupiter”) on ForeFront Records back in 1995, I have felt a massive void in my life. Sarah Brightman Fly imageThere were many famous songs of Sarah Brightman available. When you buy a Sarah Brightman album, you know exactly what you’re getting! There is no doubt that Sarah Brightman has talent and Fly is great.Lots of variety between tracks. My favorite is Why

In Why Sarah Brightman spins a tale you want to hear to the end. Murder In Mairyland Park is one of the coolest songs Sarah Brightman has ever recorded. How Can Heaven Love Me (Featuring Chris Thompson) is a great song to contemplate the modern music and what it really is all about. A Question Of Honour presents the astounding mix of instruments on Fly. Ghost In The Machinery is an upbeat song with a constant snare hit. Charming song, great melody. From the sound of it, I believe the song can be a big radio hit. Heaven Is Here - another great track from the Fly album. Classical - Various Artists Under The Greenwood Tree imageNowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Classical - Various Artists on ‘Walther Von Der Vogelweide / PalG¤stinalied’. Under The Greenwood Tree really suprise for me from Classical - Various Artists. There were many famous songs of Classical - Various Artists available. Under The Greenwood Tree is what good Classical should be.

I can’t stop playing Richard I Of England (Coeur De Lion) / Ja Nuls Homs Pris. Blondel De Nesle / A I’entrant D’este is astounding and different song. When I listen to Raimbault De Vaquerias / Kalenda Maya in my car when traffic ain’t going so good. Anon / Novus Miles Sequitur is almost impossible to review. I like Anon / Estampie because it’s extremely catchy and has awesome drumming. In Anon / Clap, Clap, Par Um Matin S’en Aloit Robin Classical - Various Artists is at his best. Opening track Anon / Robin Hood shows the best of Classical - Various Artists. I can’t stop humming along William Cornyshe / Ah, Robin. Anon / The Wedding Of Robin Hood is simply perfect. Anon / Under The Greenwood Tree is a good listen every once in a while. Simply the finest work ever from this multi-talented singer. Classical - Various Artists sings Anon / Greensleeves in such a comforting, confident voice that you can’t help but be moved. The sound of Anon / Greensleeves is difficult to describe, as it seems to squirm in a sensual manner, unlike anything ever created. Henry Stoninges / Browning My Dear has to be one of the most beautiful tracks on the entire album. Anon / Robin Hood and The Curtal Friar is a pleasing, and full of overall coherence that goes beyond other creations. Classical - Various Artists breathes new life into the music in Anon / Robin Hood and The Tanner. Claude Gervaise / Pavane: La Venissienne - Quart Livre De Danceries is maybe the best thing the group’s ever done. Claude Gervaise / Gaillarde - Sixieme Livre De Danceries one of the best in my collection. Anon / Robin Hood and Maid Marian is nothing short of a modern masterpiece. This song is very powerful, its catchy melody will have you singing along in no time. If you are a Classical - Various Artists fan, you will love Greenwood. Nottingham Castle is probably one of Classical - Various Artists’s biggest successes for the album - it’s lovely to listen to. Green Goose Fair - This one has a powerful beat and a good melody. In Anon / Sweet Angel Of England, To The Tune “Bonny Sweet Robin” Classical - Various Artists spins a tale you want to hear to the end. Thomas Simpson / Ricercar On “Bonny Sweet Robin” is a song that takes you on the journey before it reaches the conclusion. Thomas Weelkes / When Kempe Did Dance Alone presents the marvelous mix of instruments on Under The Greenwood Tree. This is probably my favorite song on the album.

Lead single “CLAIR DE LUNE” and “PRELUDE A L’APRIYS-MIDI” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. Cool, but I like their other actual stuff better like Debussy.

This track is clearly meant to showcase Debussy, Claude’s vocal abilities. THE GIRL WITH THE FLAXEN HAIR is the gorgeous blend of moody yet optimistic tunes. LA MER is one of the best records ever. One of the more genuine-sounding songs is GOLLIWOG’S CAKE-WALK. Debussy, Claude breathes new life into the music in NUAGES From ‘Nocturnes For Orchestra’.

Rondo Veneziano Weihnachten Mit Rondo Venezian imageRondo Veneziano had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. I think this is best Classical album. Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Rondo Veneziano on ‘Sinfonia Di Natale’. Weihnachten Mit Rondo Venezian is the best album I have heard in a long time

Ave Maria is a nice, innocuous song, and much better than anything Rondo Veneziano released so far. Once you hear Weihnacht Suite, you will listen to it over and over. In Petit Papa Noel Rondo Veneziano is at his best. Suite Di Natale - This happy song is an ode to optimism and an anthem. Handel Bach is one of my favorite songs by Rondo Veneziano. White Christmas - To me, this is the best song on the Weihnachten Mit Rondo Venezian. Christmas Suite I is astounding. The beautiful sound of this track makes you want to close your eyes and sway away with the music. Stille Nacht the elegant and beautiful song on the album is hard to describe. This track, in particular, has the kind of undeniably catchy flavor. It’s a great pleasure to listen to Caro Babbo Natale from the beginning to the end. Rondo Veneziano Sinfonia Di Natale imageSinfonia Di Natale CD - one of the best in Classical. I guess you need to listen Sinfonia Di Natale as soon as possible. You need to listen Sinfonia Di Natale. It’s really cool. Sinfonia Di Natale is the best essence of Rondo Veneziano.

Ave Maria - To me, this is the best song on the Sinfonia Di Natale. Weihnacht Suite is a strong cut, one of many. Petit Papa Noel is Rondo Veneziano’s best work in years. I’ve found myself listening to Suite Di Natale back to back and back many times. Handelbach is a catchy, up-tempo track that has influence of music streams without leaning too much in that direction. This track is nearly perfect if not perfect. Rondo Veneziano has astounded me with this amazing track. Christmas Suite I - A catchy, upbeat tune. Stille Nacht is the albums biggest surprise. Laudamus Jesus is the albums biggest surprise. Caro Babbo Natale is one of the more up-tempo songs on Sinfonia Di Natale. Mussorgsky The Best Of Mussorgsky mp3

Monday, December 31st, 2007

Mussorgsky The Best Of Mussorgsky imageIt has been sixteen years Mussorgsky’ last studio CD, “The Best Of Mussorgsky” which won West Australian Music Industry Awards and was nominated for album of the year. Mussorgsky’s debut, ‘The Best Of Mussorgsky’, does not fit easily into one genre. The Best Of Mussorgsky really suprise for me from Mussorgsky. If I may, I suggest “Night At The Bald Mountain”. That one song is amazing!

Music and lyrics of Pictures At An Exhibition creates, for me, fertile ground for daydreaming. Prelude To Coronation Scene (Boris Godunov) have really caught my ear and imagination. Monologue Of Boris (Boris Godunov) hits the heart. Polonaise (Boris Godunov, Act 3, Scene 2) is one of the best records ever. Farewell and Death Of Boris (Boris Godunov) is the most memorable and amazing.

Beethoven, Ludwig Van had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. There is so much to love about Beethoven, Ludwig Van, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. Symphony No.3 in E-flat Major, Op.55 Eroica constantly brilliant.

Chanticleer Sing We Christmas mp3

Chanticleer Sing We Christmas imageLead single “Es ist ein Ros entsprungen” and “O magnum mysterium” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. This album has some very good songs like Es ist ein Ros entsprungen and O magnum mysterium. IF YOU LIKE ALL Chanticleer’S SONG GO FOR IT! Enjoy the show.

I like to sing along with O magnum mysterium, though I mess up the lyrics sometimes. Listening to In dulci iubilo you can hear that Chanticleer has still amazing chemistry with band members. This track makes my mind whirl and vibrate with flowing energy. O Jesulein s Jesulein mild still maintains something of a specific flourish. Hodie Christus natus est is one of my favorite songs by Chanticleer. Marabile mysterium - This one has a powerful beat and a good melody. It’s also one of those rare songs that touchingly comfort the listener. This is the most melodic ambitious and satisfying track in Sing We Christmas. Here Is The Little Door is Chanticleer’s best work in years. Noel canon gets you up and jumping. Quelle est cette odeur agrle - Okay, I just talked about depth. El Noi de la Mare is a catchy, up-tempo track that has influence of music streams without leaning too much in that direction. A Christmas Carol is nothing but pure genius. A virgin unspotted is the albums biggest surprise. In the bleak mid-winter is sonically very melodic with nice haunting verses. Glory to the newborn King is amazing song though, very addictive. Stille nacht - Douce nuit - Silent night stands out to me for its audacious melody and sheer beauty.

Scarlatti, Domenico Keyboard Sonatas - Pletnev mp3

Sunday, October 28th, 2007

Scarlatti, Domenico Keyboard Sonatas - Pletnev imageKeyboard Sonatas - Pletnev really suprise for me from Scarlatti, Domenico. It’s natural for Scarlatti, Domenico to take a stab at ‘Sonata in D major, K 443′ considering her long-professed love for Xing. While no new Scarlatti, Domenico album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 1995 tour in Africa. Overall, I would highly recommend Keyboard Sonatas - Pletnev CD.

Sonata in D minor, K 1 pretty much defines how I feel spiritually. I have all of Scarlatti, Domenico’s tracks and Sonata in G major, K 283 is probably the most his introspective effort. Sonata in G major, K 284 rocked my world when I popped it into my car stereo. Some call Sonata in B minor, K 27 from Keyboard Sonatas - Pletnev as a quiet invitation of an artist to sit and listen. Sonata in E major, K 380 is the amazing blend of moody yet optimistic tunes. Sonata in A major, K 24 as well as many of songs is a short story in miniature. I now have Sonata in C sharp minor, K 247 as one of my personal favorites. Once Sonata in F minor, K 519 gets in your head, it will NEVER leave. In Sonata in F major, K 17 full palet of sound is used by Scarlatti, Domenico to accentuate the presentation. You can find feelings on this piece of art. I like the agression and power of Sonata in A minor, K 3. Sonata in A major, K 404 - This one is what it is: a powerful, primal invitation to love. It is succeeded by an outstanding track, however: Sonata in D minor, K 213, which shows, blatantly, how much Scarlatti, Domenico has evolved as a singer. Sonata in D major, K 214 is a song that will not reduce you to tears but leave you thinking long after Keyboard Sonatas - Pletnev have ended. Voice of Scarlatti, Domenico in Sonata in D major, K 96 is honest and guitar work is subtle and poignant. Sonata in G major, K 146 is a pleasing, and full of overall coherence that goes beyond other creations. In Sonata in B minor, K 87 the light shines equally on lyrics, vocals and instrumentation. Within the first few notes of Sonata in G major, K 520 it’s perfectly clear that Scarlatti, Domenico is living this song. Sonata in C minor, K 11 one of the best in my collection. Sonata in F minor, K 386 is astounding. Sonata in F minor, K 387 - arguably the best track on Keyboard Sonatas - Pletnev album. Sonata in A major, K 268 is such a astounding and optimistic song that things can get just better. Sonata in D minor, K 141 presents the cool mix of instruments on Keyboard Sonatas - Pletnev. Sonata in A major, K 113 good vocals. Sonata in F sharp minor, K 25 - A strong beat. Sonata in B minor, K 173 is a bit different from Scarlatti, Domenico stereotypical stuff. Nice and different song. Best song on the album, love it. Sonata in G major, K 259 is sonically very melodic with nice haunting verses. Strong percussion and poignant lyrics of this track really gets under your skin.

Glass, Philip La Belle Et La Bete CD1 imageGlass, Philip is work hard for La Belle Et La Bete CD1. Liza Moon has compared writing for Glass, Philip’s new album to that on ‘La Belle Et La Bete CD1′ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. It has been nine years Glass, Philip’ last studio CD, “La Belle Et La Bete CD1″ which won Country Music Association Awards and was nominated for album of the year. La Belle Et La Bete CD1 is the best essence of Glass, Philip.

The Sisters actually sounds so joyous, that you can practically see a smile on Glass, Philip’s face. Avenant Proposes is the song that really did it for me. You can find feelings on this piece of art. Glass, Philip must have run out of lyrics on the next track The Beast’s Domain. Although I prefer the faster paced music, I think The Fater Returns is my favorite song on La Belle Et La Bete CD1. After few listenings I started to like Beauty Goes To The Chatou more and more. Dinner With The Beast - This one has a powerful beat and a good melody. The Beast’s Anguish is perfect.

Violinekonzerte Cd1 isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. Violinekonzerte Cd1 is preety good and all the songs have a good meaning behind them.

Violinkonzert No. 1, Kv 207 - Adagio is such a astounding and optimistic song that things can get just better. Violinkonzert No. 1, Kv 207 - Presto is one of these floating songs. Violinkonzert No. 1, Kv 211 - Allegro Moderato - A classic Mozart, Wolfgang Amadeus track. Violinkonzert No. 1, Kv 211 - Andante pretty much defines how I feel spiritually. This track is just fantastic from start to finish. Outside of the singles, my favorite song on Violinekonzerte Cd1 is Concerto C-Dur F. 2 Violinen and Orchester, Kv 190 - Allegro Con Spirito. Once you hear Concerto C-Dur F. 2 Violinen and Orchester, Kv 190 - Andantino Grazioso, you will listen to it over and over. Mozart, Wolfgang Amadeus Symphonie No. 25 G-Moll, Kv 183 imageSymphonie No. 25 G-Moll, Kv 183 is an amazing album, racked with beauty. While no new Mozart, Wolfgang Amadeus album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 1995 tour in Africa. Symphonie No. 25 G-Moll, Kv 183 really suprise for me from Mozart, Wolfgang Amadeus. Smart music for smart people.

Andante - a classic song. Mozart, Wolfgang Amadeus breathes new life into the music in Menuetto. Mozart, Wolfgang Amadeus rocks harder than ever with Allegro. This is the kind of song I think of when I think of Mozart, Wolfgang Amadeus. Andante had me crying as I was able to relate so well. Menuetto is outstanding work of Mozart, Wolfgang Amadeus. Allegro Con Spirito has a gorgeous instrumental sound, which lets Mozart, Wolfgang Amadeus’s strong vocals come to the fore. Allegro Molto is simple, dignified and effective, Mozart, Wolfgang Amadeus refusing to over-emote, and demonstrating that less is more. In this song fans will recognize the unique vocals of Mozart, Wolfgang Amadeus. Menuetto is probably the most interesting track on Symphonie No. 25 G-Moll, Kv 183. I’ve found myself listening to Allegro Assai back to back and back many times.

City of Prague Philharmonic Valley of the Gwangi: The Classic Film Music of Jerome Moross imageIt’s natural for City of Prague Philharmonic to take a stab at ‘The Valley Of Gwangi / The Landscape’ considering her long-professed love for Big Fun. Valley of the Gwangi: The Classic Film Music of Jerome Moross is an amazing album, racked with beauty.Lead single “The Valley Of Gwangi / The Landscape” and “Wagon Train Theme” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. Wagon Train Theme is new, fresh, and hypnotizing. In this song fans will recognize the unique vocals of City of Prague Philharmonic. The opening track The Mountain Road / Main Title/The Men… is very much like you would expect from other albums. The Sharkfighters Overture - To me, this is the best song on the Valley of the Gwangi: The Classic Film Music of Jerome Moross. What Of The Future? / Vengeance And Death is one of the best records ever. It’s so catchy, it’s amazing. Song Flight And Finale is actually a funny song. Cage, John In A Landscape mp3

Thursday, September 13th, 2007

Cage, John In A Landscape imageSelf-described as Classical with lots of words, Cage, John comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. On In A Landscape album, Cage, John have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. On the Holland charts, superstar Cage, John’s career stalled before it left the starting gate. In A Landscape album is a scorcher!

It’s very catchy and easy to get into which is what you want in a song. Souvenir (1983) is an incredible song that has everything it needs to be another favorite track. You can find feelings on this piece of art. I came to like Suite For Toy Piano (1948). I can’t stop humming along Bacchanale (1938). I loved Prelude For Meditation (1944) the first time I heard it. Only one song from In A Landscape named Dream (1948) really got me.

Hariprasad Chaurasia and Dr. M. Balamurli Krishna Raga Mohanam and Bhoopali (The Jungalbandi Series) mp3

Hariprasad Chaurasia and Dr. M. Balamurli Krishna Raga Mohanam and Bhoopali (The Jungalbandi Series) imageOn Raga Mohanam and Bhoopali (The Jungalbandi Series) album, Hariprasad Chaurasia and Dr. M. Balamurli Krishna have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. On the Estonia charts, superstar Hariprasad Chaurasia and Dr. M. Balamurli Krishna’s career stalled before it left the starting gate. Raga Mohanam and Bhoopali (The Jungalbandi Series) carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. One of Hariprasad Chaurasia and Dr. M. Balamurli Krishna’s best albums yet.

Alap is another favourite of mine. The song feels complete. Voice of Hariprasad Chaurasia and Dr. M. Balamurli Krishna in Drut Gat Teentaal is honest and guitar work is subtle and poignant. The first time I listened to Drut Gat Aditaal I was struck by its cool sound.

Kronos Quartet Released - 1985-1995 (Cd2) imageReleased - 1985-1995 (Cd2) CD - one of the best in Classical. This is the first studio album from Kronos Quartet since bad diagnosis in 1995. Now signed to Kronos Quartet’s Asian Man Records, the title track from second album “Released - 1985-1995 (Cd2)” leads Kronos Quartet’s back-to-school campaign. Lots of variety between tracks. My favorite is It Raged

It Raged is the best music that I have heard from anyone in any area of music. Michael Daugherty - Elvis Everywhere is a marvelous, simple song by Kronos Quartet at the top of his game.

Mozart, Wolfgang Amadeus Violinekonzerte Cd2 imageThis -song debut EP shows the promise that Mozart, Wolfgang Amadeus has. Violinekonzerte Cd2 isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. This disc has all of the essential Mozart, Wolfgang Amadeus classics. Violinekonzerte Cd2 is what good Classical should be.

Streichquartett No. 8, Kv 169 - Andante - This happy song is an ode to optimism and an anthem. Mozart, Wolfgang Amadeus is hitting on all cylinders in Streichquartett No. 8, Kv 169 - Menuetto. Allegretto. Streichquartett No. 8, Kv 169 - Allegretto is a romantic if not formulaic ditty. Divertimento No. 7 D-Dur, Kv 205 - Largo. Allegro is kind of track that compels you to skip back and drink it in one more time before moving on through Violinekonzerte Cd2. Divertimento No. 7 D-Dur, Kv 205 - Menuetto is maybe the best thing the group’s ever done. Divertimento No. 7 D-Dur, Kv 205 - Adagio on Violinekonzerte Cd2 is solid and easy to listen to. Other tracks are good but your best bet is to stick with Divertimento No. 7 D-Dur, Kv 205 - Menuetto (2). Divertimento No. 7 D-Dur, Kv 205 - Finale. Presto - a classic song. Menuett D-Dur - This one has a powerful beat and a good melody. Rondo Fur Flute and Orchester, Kv 375 as well as many of songs is a short story in miniature. Andante C-Dur Fur Flute and Orchester, Kv 315 is a striking and quite long song.

Classical - Various Artists V.A. - (1995) Masterworks Of French Music imageV.A. - (1995) Masterworks Of French Music isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. This is one of the best Cd’s Classical - Various Artists has dropped to date. For older fans V.A. - (1995) Masterworks Of French Music will put a massive smile accross your face. V.A. - (1995) Masterworks Of French Music is not something you should pass up.

If you are a Classical - Various Artists fan, you will love Prelude To An Afternoon Of A F (Claude DeBussy). In The Sorcerer’s Apprentice (Paul Dukas) Classical - Various Artists spins a tale you want to hear to the end. Introduction and Royal March O (Camille Saint-Saens) - This one is lively and fun. Outside of the singles, my favorite song on V.A. - (1995) Masterworks Of French Music is Cocks and Hens (Camille Saint-Saens). In Wild Asses (Camille Saint-Saens) the music gets its power. Simple and heartfelt closing track Tortoises (Camille Saint-Saens) closes V.A. - (1995) Masterworks Of French Music on a high note. Vocals of Classical - Various Artists in In The House Of The Elephants (Camille Saint-Saens) really capture me and are set perfectly to the rhythm. Kangaroos (Camille Saint-Saens) good vocals. This track is just fantastic from start to finish. People With Long Ears (Camille Saint-Saens) is a very good song maybe surprisingly better than you at first might’ve imagined. Cuckoo In The Heart Of The Woo (Camille Saint-Saens) is a marvelous song and it grows on you. Aviary (Camille Saint-Saens) presents the astounding mix of instruments on V.A. - (1995) Masterworks Of French Music. Classical - Various Artists is hitting on all cylinders in Pianists (Camille Saint-Saens). Awesome song is really all that you can say about it. Preisner, Zbigniew Preisner’s Music mp3

Preisner, Zbigniew Preisner's Music imageNowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Preisner, Zbigniew on ‘Perte (Eminent Domain)’. Now signed to Preisner, Zbigniew’s Comedy Central Records, the title track from second album “Preisner’s Music” leads Preisner, Zbigniew’s back-to-school campaign. This is the first studio album from Preisner, Zbigniew since bad diagnosis in 1995. IF you love Preisner, Zbigniew, ‘Preisner’s Music’ Mp3’s is the best!

Lac (Decalogue 1) is the albums lead single as well as biggest hit. Nice and different song. Decision (Tu Ne Tueras Point) makes a person feel gorgeous. Don’t judge Holocaust (Decalogue 8) on the first listening. Preisner, Zbigniew rocks harder than ever with Nymphea (Decalogue 9). Marionettes (La Double Vie De Veronique) - I just love it. Pluie (Secret Garden) - A nice song. Preisner, Zbigniew has created something that grabs you by the heart and gets you moving. Overall a nice softer song. Jardin d’Ete (Secret Garden) is the more seemingly obscure song on Preisner’s Music that bear up best to repeated listening. Lave (Mouvements du Desir) is one of the best records ever. Conte d’Amour (Mouvements du Desir) to me is the best you can get from Preisner, Zbigniew. Cascade (At Play In The Fields Of Lord) is such a excellent and optimistic song that things can get just better. Damage (Fatale) is exquisite song though, very addictive. Some call Homecoming (Pour l’Amour d’Une Femme) from Preisner’s Music as a quiet invitation of an artist to sit and listen. Bataille (Europa Europa) is one of the more up-tempo songs on Preisner’s Music. This song is like perfectly aged vintage bordeaux wine not a tequila shot. Labyrinthe (Opera Egyptien) is possibly the most mysterious and inexplicable track Preisner, Zbigniew ever produced. Ciel (Opera Egyptien) is a catchy, up-tempo track that has influence of music streams without leaning too much in that direction. Tango (Trois Couleurs / Blanc) is sonically very melodic with nice haunting verses. Bolero (Trois Couleurs / Rouge…) is a fine track on any terms. The first time I listened to Enfer (La Double Vie de Veronique) I was struck by its cool sound. Song For The Unification Of Europe (Trois Couleurs - Bleu) is one of those songs that will put you in a good mood. This song has very few things relative to that of it’s predecessor.

Kronos Quartet Released: 1985-1995 mp3

Friday, August 10th, 2007

Kronos Quartet Released: 1985-1995 imageWhile no new Kronos Quartet album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 1995 tour in Australia. This is one of greatest albums of Kronos Quartet. Lead single “Mother Nozipo” and “Five Tango Sensations: Asleep” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. Released: 1985-1995 constantly brilliant.

Opening track Five Tango Sensations: Asleep shows the best of Kronos Quartet. String Quartet No. 4 (Amazing Grace) make listening to Kronos Quartet like being in some sort of time warp. Vocal harmonies in this track are great and song structure is just right. Quasi una Fantasia - String Quartet No. 2: Arioso: adagio cantabile is the first taste of the new album. From the sound of it, I believe the song can be a big radio hit. Black Angels: God-Music is astounding work of Kronos Quartet. Fratres has to be one of the most beautiful tracks on the entire album. String Quartet No. 5: Movt. III is a nice, innocuous song, and much better than anything Kronos Quartet released so far. The sound in A Cool Wind Is Blowing is really warm and Kronos Quartet’s signature voice is still very much present. Adagio on Released: 1985-1995 is solid and easy to listen to. Dinner Music For A Pack Of Hungry Cannibals is a perfect sing-along. How It Happens - The Voice Of I.F. Stone: It Raged - another great track from the Released: 1985-1995 album. Elvis Everywhere defines beauty, yet is as unforgiving as an astringent stone. This track is full of harmonies and gets Released: 1985-1995 off to a relaxing start.

Classical - Various Artists VA - (1995) Masterworks Of French Music mp3

Wednesday, August 8th, 2007

Classical - Various Artists VA - (1995) Masterworks Of French Music imageThis is the first studio album from Classical - Various Artists since bad diagnosis in 1995. Since completing 1995’s ‘Bolero (Maurice Ravel)’, Classical - Various Artists fulfilled their contract with Chemikal Underground and where under no obligation to release another album. Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Classical - Various Artists on ‘Bolero (Maurice Ravel)’. Great Classical right here!

Prelude To An Afternoon Of A F (Claude DeBussy) still maintains something of a specific flourish. A unique and uplifting song. After few listenings I started to like Introduction and Royal March O (Camille Saint-Saens) more and more. Cocks and Hens (Camille Saint-Saens) is a medium tempo tune. Wild Asses (Camille Saint-Saens) is an underrated song: I like its lyrics and melody a lot. Tortoises (Camille Saint-Saens) - My least favorite song on this album. In The House Of The Elephants (Camille Saint-Saens) is a great opener for VA - (1995) Masterworks Of French Music. There is exquisite mix of music in Kangaroos (Camille Saint-Saens). Aquarium (Camille Saint-Saens) - A nice song. People With Long Ears (Camille Saint-Saens) - arguably the best track on VA - (1995) Masterworks Of French Music album. I like to sing along with Cuckoo In The Heart Of The Woo (Camille Saint-Saens), though I mess up the lyrics sometimes. Classical - Various Artists sings his heart out in Aviary (Camille Saint-Saens). From the sound of it, I believe the song can be a big radio hit. Fossils (Camille Saint-Saens) is astounding. As always, Classical - Various Artists’s lyrics are worth listening to again and again. Finale (Camille Saint-Saens) - This one makes me want to not only sing along.
