Storm Warning is the albums biggest surprise. Although Just Like My Lover is very melodic it is far from sad. Bob James and Hilary James emotions are reflected through After The Fall. Somebody Make Me Laugh is an upbeat song with a constant snare hit. In Oasis it becomes nowhere more obvious that Bob James and Hilary James has yet to define own style. Various Artists Estrellas imageThere is no doubt that Various Artists has talent and Estrellas is great.I guess you need to listen Estrellas as soon as possible. Great album Estrellas - just must listen it! Estrellas album is in perfect progression from Various Artists!

A Ti A Ti is almost impossible to review. Siempre Acaba Tu Vida is quite refreshing and sets the tone for what is going on in Estrellas. From the moment you listen to Forever you’re hooked. Nice and different song. Campesino is so unique, as each one of the songs is. Estrellas couldn’t start better than with the up up-beat title track Cataluna. Igual Se Entonces is flawed, nonetheless pretty good song. I like to sing along with Pajarito, though I mess up the lyrics sometimes. Voice and instruments in Tierra Gitana complement each other. A Tu Vera - This one is what it is: a powerful, primal invitation to love. There is perfect mix of music in Mi Corazon. A great put together song. Some of the arrangements found on Estrellas are surprisingly edgy.

Matt Bianco Gran Via+5 mp3

Matt Bianco Gran Via+5 imageWhen you buy a Matt Bianco album, you know exactly what you’re getting! Great album Gran Via+5 - just must listen it! Since Matt Bianco last CD (Gran Via+5) on Coredump Records back in 1995, I have felt a massive void in my life. Gran Via+5 is preety good and all the songs have a good meaning behind them.

All of songs on Gran Via+5 and have something to say letting alone A day in your life. Friend of mine is a song to enjoy for years to come. Music of Love just passed me by is gentle, never overbearing. One listen to the sheer beauty of Can’t stop this feeling was all I needed. The stranger is another favourite of mine. As always, Matt Bianco’s lyrics are worth listening to again and again. Victim of love defines beauty, yet is as unforgiving as an astringent stone. Love life is possibly the most mysterious and inexplicable track Matt Bianco ever produced. Lost souls can be hardly overrated by any means; this is what Matt Bianco is all about. I can’t stop playing Lost in you (American dance mix). Voice of Matt Bianco in Lost in your (Rumba mix) is honest and guitar work is subtle and poignant. It’s very catchy and easy to get into which is what you want in a song. Your destiny (Club mix) is Matt Bianco’s best work in years.

Joan Osborne Relish imageIt has been five years Joan Osborne’ last studio CD, “Relish” which won Washington Area Music Awards and was nominated for album of the year. I am not a real Rock: Pop-Rock music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Relish’ really is amazing. This is the first studio album from Joan Osborne since bad diagnosis in 1995. It is very exciting!

In Man In The Long Black Coat Joan Osborne is at his best. A unique and uplifting song. It’s so catchy, it’s amazing. Dracula Moon is a pleasing, and full of overall coherence that goes beyond other creations. Listening to One Of Us you can hear that Joan Osborne has still amazing chemistry with band members. Funkdoobiest Dedicated Single imageI guess you need to listen Dedicated Single as soon as possible. Lead single “Dedicated (Funkmaster Flex Remix)” and “Dedicated (Album)” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. Friday, February 29th, 2008

Various Artists Playback vol.3 - good booty imageIt has been six years Various Artists’ last studio CD, “Playback vol.3 - good booty” which won CMT Music Awards and was nominated for album of the year. This -song debut EP shows the promise that Various Artists has. Playback vol.3 - good booty CD - one of the best in Pop. Overall, I would highly recommend Playback vol.3 - good booty CD.

I Won’t Back Down - My least favorite song on this album. Love Is A Long Road - Well, here we get a bit more meaning. Simple and heartfelt closing track Runnin’ Down A Dream closes Playback vol.3 - good booty on a high note. Strong, powerful vocals of Various Artists in Yer So Bad are very impressive. In Alright For Now it becomes nowhere more obvious that Various Artists has yet to define own style. This track is a killer, it just grabs you instantly. Into The Great Wide Open is so unique, as each one of the songs is. I love the melodic melody of All Or Nothin’ and to this day it makes me feel good. Out Of The Cold is probably one of Various Artists’s biggest successes for the album - it’s lovely to listen to. Build To Last as well as many of songs is a short story in miniature. Banco De Gaia Last Train To Lhasa CD1 mp3

Friday, February 29th, 2008

Banco De Gaia Last Train To Lhasa CD1 imageIt’s natural for Banco De Gaia to take a stab at ‘Last Train to Lhasa’ considering her long-professed love for Tokio. Now signed to Banco De Gaia’s Dual Plover, the title track from second album “Last Train To Lhasa CD1″ leads Banco De Gaia’s back-to-school campaign. John Digester has compared writing for Banco De Gaia’s new album to that on ‘Last Train To Lhasa CD1′ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. If I may, I suggest “Last Train to Lhasa”. That one song is amazing!

Banco De Gaia is hitting on all cylinders in Kuos. Album opener China (clouds not mountains) is a bright, upbeat ditty. Amber is the first taste of the new album. Kincajou is one of the best records ever. White Paint is nothing short of a modern masterpiece. 887 (structure) is perhaps one of the best tracks of the past decade.

Prince and The New Power Generation The Gold Experience imageYou need to listen The Gold Experience. It’s really cool. After seeing P Control, I had to have a good Prince and The New Power Generation CD. Since Prince and The New Power Generation last CD (The Gold Experience) on Deathlike Silence Productions back in 1995, I have felt a massive void in my life. Last Hot Album by Prince and The New Power Generation

Some of the arrangements found on The Gold Experience are surprisingly edgy. One of the songs that always stick in my mind is Endorphinmachine because the melody in the chorus is so good. Shhh is an incredible song that has everything it needs to be another favorite track. We March actually sounds so joyous, that you can practically see a smile on Prince and The New Power Generation’s face. Npg Operator is kind of track that compels you to skip back and drink it in one more time before moving on through The Gold Experience. The Most Beautiful Girl In The World is a great opener for The Gold Experience. Dolphin is perhaps one of the best tracks of the past decade. Npg Operator is a sure sign of something most of us are experiencing, maturity. Now is a fine track on any terms. Npg Operator sets the tone for the entire album. As always, Prince and The New Power Generation’s lyrics are worth listening to again and again. If you are a Prince and The New Power Generation fan, you will love Npg Operator. Shy - This one makes me want to not only sing along. Billy Jack Bitch is a bit of a show-tune. I Hate U is just a great song and one well worth taking the time to give it a good listen. Prince and The New Power Generation has astounded me with this amazing track. Gold is worth the money.

Cachao Master Sessions Vol.2 mp3

Thursday, February 28th, 2008

Cachao Master Sessions Vol.2 imageThere is no doubt that Cachao has talent and Master Sessions Vol.2 is great. This is one of the best Cd’s Cachao has dropped to date. Since completing 1995’s ‘Three Beats (Danza)’, Cachao fulfilled their contract with Big Scary Monsters Recording Company and where under no obligation to release another album. If you want to hear real Pop, get this record now!

You can find feelings on this piece of art. This is probably my favorite song on the album. Brave One (Son Montuno) stands out to me for its audacious melody and sheer beauty. This track is clearly meant to showcase Cachao’s vocal abilities. I find myself hearing bits of Cunde Takes off (Guaracha) here and there throughout my waking hours. Cachao has astounded me with this amazing track. Follow Paquito If You Can [Danz is perhaps one of the best tracks of the past decade. Mischievous Timbalero [Descarga/Jam Session] - I used to hate this song, but now it’s one of my favorites. Africa Suite: Eleggua (Intro) (Canto Yoruba/Yoruba Chant) presents the cool mix of instruments on Master Sessions Vol.2. Africa Suite: Africa Viva [Danz is almost impossible to review. Thursday, February 28th, 2008

Elvis Presley Gold - The Very Best Of The King (Cd 1) imageThis is one of the best Cd’s Elvis Presley has dropped to date. Elvis Presley was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Elvis Presley and Gold - The Very Best Of The King (Cd 1) together. IF YOU LIKE ALL Elvis Presley’S SONG GO FOR IT! It is very deep stuff.

My Baby Left Me is simply excellent. Tutti Frutti - To me, this is the best song on the Gold - The Very Best Of The King (Cd 1). Elvis Presley allows each song to breathe and flourish. A unique and uplifting song. Love Me Tender is probably the most interesting track on Gold - The Very Best Of The King (Cd 1). All Shook Up is outstanding work of Elvis Presley. (Let Me Be Your) Teddy Bear is Elvis Presley’s best work in years. One Night is really the reason why I recommend buying Gold - The Very Best Of The King (Cd 1). Jailhouse Rock is a nice, innocuous song, and much better than anything Elvis Presley released so far. Treat Me Nice had me crying as I was able to relate so well. All of songs on Gold - The Very Best Of The King (Cd 1) and have something to say letting alone Don’t. The first time I listened to Hard Headed Woman I was struck by its perfect sound. I like the agression and power of Trouble. The sound in King Creole is really warm and Elvis Presley’s signature voice is still very much present. A Big Hunk O’ Love make listening to Elvis Presley like being in some sort of time warp. Stuck On You pretty much defines how I feel spiritually. Other tracks are good but your best bet is to stick with Fever. It’s Now Or Never - This is a very lively song. I Gotta Know is beautiful, yet underrated track.

Charly Lownoise and Mental Theo Charlottenburg imageThis is one of greatest albums of Charly Lownoise and Mental Theo. I guess you need to listen Charlottenburg as soon as possible. There were many famous songs of Charly Lownoise and Mental Theo available. Charly Lownoise and Mental Theo is one of my favourite bands of all time.

Rockin’ Party (I Can’t Handle It) have really caught my ear and imagination. You can find feelings on this piece of art. Homeboys, Flygirls is one of these floating songs. Get Free is pretty funky and mellow. Wonderfull Days (Remix By Etienne Overdijk and Sven Maes) is possibly the best song Charly Lownoise and Mental Theo has come up. Prisoners Of X.T.C - a classic song. This track is possibly the biggest guilty pleasure on Charlottenburg. Fly, Fly, Fly…. is a song you cannot help but think about at odd moments in your day. Charly Lownoise and Mental Theo has created something that grabs you by the heart and gets you moving. Angels In Your Head is almost impossible to review. I believe Ooh Massive is one of the most excellent, heartfelt songs ever written. Charly Lownoise and Mental Theo emotions are reflected through Descontrolla. Pretty Maids Screamin’ Live mp3

Tuesday, February 26th, 2008

Pretty Maids Screamin' Live imageFor older fans Screamin’ Live will put a massive smile accross your face. Now signed to Pretty Maids’s Birdman Records, the title track from second album “Screamin’ Live” leads Pretty Maids’s back-to-school campaign. There is so much to love about Pretty Maids, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. Psycho-Time-Bomb-Planet-Earth and Rock The House is really good.

I can’t stop playing Rock The House. This track is almost perfect, instrumentals and vocals combine awesomely. Walk Away is simple, dignified and effective, Pretty Maids refusing to over-emote, and demonstrating that less is more. Scream is probably one of Pretty Maids’s biggest successes for the album - it’s lovely to listen to. Yellow Rain rocked my world when I popped it into my car stereo. Sin-Decade I just LOVE this mix! I believe Savage Heart is one of the most marvelous, heartfelt songs ever written. No Messiah is possibly the most mysterious and inexplicable track Pretty Maids ever produced. The song feels complete. Lovegames presents the cool mix of instruments on Screamin’ Live. A great put together song. First time I heard Back To Back was on radio driving in my car and sonically it just sounded amazing. One of the songs that always stick in my mind is Red Hot and Heavy because the melody in the chorus is so good.

Riverdales Riverdales mp3

Tuesday, February 26th, 2008

Riverdales Riverdales imageSince completing 1995’s ‘Back To You’, Riverdales fulfilled their contract with Attack Records (UK) and where under no obligation to release another album. Riverdales had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. There were many famous songs of Riverdales available. Riverdales constantly brilliant.

Fun Tonight is a sure sign of something most of us are experiencing, maturity. It is succeeded by an outstanding track, however: Hampton Beach, which shows, blatantly, how much Riverdales has evolved as a singer. Musically I Think About You Doing The Commercials is superior to other tracks in Riverdales. I can’t stop humming along In Your Dreams. Judy Go Home gets you up and jumping. So much energy, so exciting a sound.Outta Sight marked the continuation of Riverdales in style evolution. Plan 13 - This one makes me want to not only sing along. Rehabilitated is outstanding work of Riverdales. She’s Gonna Break Your Heart one of the most beautiful songs i’ve ever heard. Wanna Be Alright - For me, this is the best of the album.

Home Grown That’s Business mp3

Home Grown That's Business imageOn That’s Business album, Home Grown have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. That’s Business one of my best. It’s natural for Home Grown to take a stab at ‘Get A Job’ considering her long-professed love for Energy. Check it every song is worth the money for the That’s Business CD!

A great put together song. She Said is possibly the best song Home Grown has come up. I came to like My Friends Suck. Vocal harmonies in this track are great and song structure is just right. Wanna is new, fresh, and hypnotizing. Home Grown sings his heart out in Sufer Girl. Ubotherme is kind of track that compels you to skip back and drink it in one more time before moving on through That’s Business. Face In The Crowd is quite refreshing and sets the tone for what is going on in That’s Business. I Hate Myself was the first single release from the album That’s Business. One Night Stand is a song to enjoy for years to come. It’s so catchy, it’s amazing. Worthless the elegant and beautiful song on the album is hard to describe. Employer’s Market is one of the coolest songs Home Grown has ever recorded. This track is nearly perfect if not perfect. Bonus Track - a classic song.

Pretty Maids Scream mp3

Monday, February 25th, 2008

Pretty Maids Scream imageAfter debuting at No. 1 last week, Pretty Maids’s album Scream falls to No. 2 with 479,000, a sales slide of 83%. Great album Scream - just must listen it! Now signed to Pretty Maids’s Bop Cassettes, the title track from second album “Scream” leads Pretty Maids’s back-to-school campaign. Scream is awesome.

Scream - I used to hate this song, but now it’s one of my favorites. Psycho-Time-Bomb-Planet-Earth is one of the more up-tempo songs on Scream. Voice of Pretty Maids in This Love is honest and guitar work is subtle and poignant. Walk Away is a cool, simple song by Pretty Maids at the top of his game. No Messiah - arguably the best track on Scream album. In A World Of Your Own - isn’t quite as powerful vocally, but has a beautiful melody. I can’t stop playing Don’t Turn Your Sex On Me. One of the songs that always stick in my mind is Adrenaline Junkie because the melody in the chorus is so good. No Pretty Maids song has come close to capturing my attention as Anytime Anywhere did. Simple and heartfelt closing track When It All Comes Down closes Scream on a high note.

Various Artists Illusions imageThis -song debut EP shows the promise that Various Artists has. Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Various Artists on ‘Reflexionen (Intro; Reflexionen (Intro))’. Various Artists is work hard for Illusions. Illusions is not something you should pass up.

It’s a great pleasure to listen to Faces from the beginning to the end. Tears Of Time - a classic song. Various Artists rocks harder than ever with My Way. I was truly moved when I heard Lost In Myself. Simple and heartfelt closing track An Other… closes Illusions on a high note. The Atmosphere (Instrumental; The Atmosphere (Instrumental)) is perfect work of Various Artists. Overall a nice softer song. This track is clearly meant to showcase Various Artists’s vocal abilities. I find myself hearing bits of Dreams Of Dancing here and there throughout my waking hours. …Just Dreaming is the first taste of the new album. Visions makes a person feel perfect.

Vanize Twins? mp3

Monday, February 25th, 2008

Vanize Twins? imageThere is no doubt that Vanize has talent and Twins? is great.Twins? carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. Twins? isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. It is very deep stuff.

Heading For Tomorrow is quite refreshing and sets the tone for what is going on in Twins?. All of songs on Twins? and have something to say letting alone They’re Back. Music in Nowhere To Hide is cool as in all tracks of Twins?. Evil Eyes - I just love it. Roll The Dice is perfect. Music of Baby’s On Crack is gentle, never overbearing. Don’t Go Down is nothing but pure genius. We Stay Loud is the albums biggest surprise. Hell Is Back is a marvelous, simple song by Vanize at the top of his game. Troublemakers as a highlight of Twins? contains a ton of astounding melodies.

K’s Choise Paradise In Me mp3

Monday, February 25th, 2008

K's Choise Paradise In Me imageThere is so much to love about K’s Choise, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. This disc has all of the essential K’s Choise classics. I think this is best Pop album. Paradise In Me is not something you should pass up.

I like A Sound That Only You Can Hear because it’s extremely catchy and has awesome drumming. White Kite Fauna is filled with very deep emotions that will truly touch your heart. This song is dynamic and dramatic. Song For Catherine is one of these floating songs. To This Day is a song to savor, to listen to from every angle. The sound in Iron Flower is really warm and K’s Choise’s signature voice is still very much present. Wait is the most memorable and cool. The song Paradise In Me ending is my favorite… so catchy! This song is very powerful, its catchy melody will have you singing along in no time. I like the agression and power of Only Dreaming. Dad is excellent work of K’s Choise. Musically Old Woman is superior to other tracks in Paradise In Me. Something’s Wrong defines beauty, yet is as unforgiving as an astringent stone.
